Tradeshow and Sales Follow Up E-Cards
First determine the tone of your e-card. The informal business e-card is best reserved for people that you have met at least once or have spoken to on the phone. The manner in which they communicate with you verbally or through body language will also dictate whether you should address someone in an informal manner.
- Address the person in the card by their name and in more formal cases, use their title.
- Keep the overall tone to the e-card friendly but brief and to the point.
- Avoid the "sales pitch."
- Provide the "benefits" of your service or product - not just the features
- Include ways for the recipient to reach you such as your company name, phone number, web site address and email address.
- Always check your spelling and grammar.
Follow up to see if they received the note and had any additional questions.
